Roulette Table Game Basics for Beginners
There are many online Canadian sites that can offer one or more variants of the classic roulette table game. Although it may look confusing to newcomers who aren't familiar with the table and the ways in which wagers are placed, it's actually one of the simplest titles in terms of learning how to play. First and foremost, it needs to be understood that there are four different variants from which to choose: American, European, French and Mini. Of all of these, European and French provide the best odds, so this is where everyone should start. Of the two, the only differences are in the French version because the numbers are laid out differently on the wheel and the La Partage rule allows individuals to get half of their wagers back should the ball land in the zero pocket.
There are 37 pockets on either of these wheels including the numbers one through 36 and a single zero pocket. All of the numbers are laid out in such a way that the results of each spin are completely random and the colors red and black alternate. The zero, though, is always green. The goal, then, is for the individual to accurately predict where the ball will land, whether by wagering on one or a group of numbers, or even a specific category into which it will fall. A straight bet is on only one number and this provides the worst odds but the highest payout. An even bet, though, which is on red or black, even or odd and high or low, has the best odds and pays out even money.
Though the roulette table game may look confusing, it's really as simple as clicking on a chip denomination and then clicking the area of the board that corresponds with the intended wager. Many of the spaces are clearly labeled, but others can be learned in time. For instance, putting a chip on a 'corner' of the board means that the person is guessing that the ball will land on one of the four pockets to which that corner corresponds. Everything else is fairly straightforward, but it's important to keep the odds in mind and always remember that luck is the contributing factor to winning.
